"I stuck my head out the window this morning and Spring kissed me bang in the face." - Langston Hughes

Spring. My favorite season is finally here! The other night I noticed that the Bradford Pears on campus were finally budding and for just a second, it took my breath away. I love the sense of purity and newness that the season represents, it bring me such a sense of peace and serenity. There is a quote by Robert Orben that I just love, I think he said it best,”Spring is God's way of saying, 'One more time!'”

My mom and I often talk about our “Bucket Lists”, the sky is the limit when we discuss all the things that we must do before we die. When I was a freshman in High School, we studied a series of paintings by Claude Monet in my art class and I fell absolutely in love with his work. I decided then that I must see his original paintings in person someday. I still want to, but I’ve added another Monet related must-see to my list. I MUST visit his garden in Giverny, France! It was the garden that inspired some of his most famous oil paintings.

Probably is most known piece "Lilly Pond"

I hope everyone takes a few minutes to slow down and take in the new season. You never know, sitting under a tree may lead you to add something new to your bucket list.
